Year 2000 Issues:

  • The RT-11 file system supports dates from 1972 to 2003.
  • Editing systems do not use the dates (and most don't display them).
  • WRT (beginning with Version 3.12) properly displays dates beyond 1999.
  • WRT uses the current system date when creating files (DOS or RT11).
  • WRT can be used on Y2K compliant, or non-compliant, systems.
